In May 2012, I will be graduating from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and a minor in Psychology. My main focus however, has been on pharmacy and in the Fall of 2011 I will actually be applying for early admission to pharmacy school. From there, I plan on attending the University of Tennessee: College of Pharmacy and spending nine months in Memphis to complete my first year as a pharmacy student. My first choice would be to return to Knoxville after the nine months to finish my last three years of school. I am very interested in oncology pharmacy and have thought of possibly continuing my education after receiving my Pharm.D. My ultimate dream is to work in St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as an oncology pharmacist.
If not successful on my first attempt at pharmacy school, I plan on continuing to work and take classes for a full year and re-applying. Overall I just want to use my knowledge to benefit the public and to give back!
