Wal-mart Pharmacy(2010-Present)
In the pharmacy there are several tasks that technicians are responsible for. Some of these responsibilities include:
- receiving written prescription or refill requests and verifying that the information is complete and accurate
- establishing and maintaining patient profiles
- including lists of medications taken by individual patients
- maintaining proper storage and security conditions for drugs
- answering telephones, responding to questions or requests
- Assisting customers by answering simple questions, locating items or referring them to the pharmacist for medication information.
- Receiving and storing incoming supplies, verifying quantities against invoices, checking for outdated medications in current inventory, and informing supervisors of stock needs and shortages.
- Prepacking bulk medicines, filling bottles with prescribed medications, and affixing labels
Court South (2009-2010)

While employed at Court South I was able to develop relationships with the gym members and their children while providing childcare during workouts. I also planned and implemented new games and activities for parent's night out and the monthly member appreciation dinner. Most of my time, however, was spent instructing children's classes involving ballet, cheerleading, tumble, aerobics, basketball, and soccer. New Fellowship Christian Academy (2008-2009)
I was responsible for all aspects of childcare including: feeding, napping, hygiene, and instructing Pre-K readiness skills. I also formed intimate relationships of trust and rapport with parents, co-workers, and children.
Starz Elite/Bounce House (2006-2007)
While employed at the Bounce house I helped parents to plan children's birthday parties by choosing themes, times, and activities. I also help set up decorations, gifts, and food prior to the event, and clean up afterwards. Finally, I was responsible for supervising the safety and well being of all activities during the parties.
Bruster's Real Ice cream (2005-2006)
I worked as a server/cashier at the Bruster's located on Emory Road in Powell, TN. I started at the age of 15 and worked for over a year. Not only did I gain basic knowledge about serving customers, I quickly began to realize the value of a dollar.
